The Association of Translation Companies (ATC) announced the winners of its annual Language Industry Awards on Thursday, celebrating high-achieving language service providers (LSPs) and their workers.
This year, the awards gala took place Sept. 22, with a round-up of awards including titles such as “Company of the Year,” “Translator of the Year,” “Project Management Team of the Year,” and more.
Pentlands client, Comtec Translations took home the award for “Company of the Year,” with the judges praising the company’s extensive investment in training and efforts to lighten the load of visa complications for its workers in the post-Brexit era.
“Comtec Translations has had an excellent year gaining B Corp Certification, and showcasing significant growth in terms of revenue, clients, and team size,” the judges wrote in their notes on the Warwickshire-based LSP’s performance this year. “Comtec Translations recognises that the team is their greatest asset.”
