The last time Elinor pushed herself like this was in 2021, when she jumped out of a plane. This time, she was trading the skies for the streets.
On Saturday, 1st February, Elinor slept rough in Leamington, supporting the incredible Lianne Kirkman on the first night of her 10-night sponsored sleepout.
Lianne, the inspiring Founder of The Esther Project – Women of Worth CIC, is spending 10 consecutive nights sleeping out in towns and cities across the UK to raise awareness about the urgent need for women-only services in tackling homelessness. Did you know that 60% of those who are homeless and in temporary accommodation are women? That statistic is heartbreaking—and why Elinor is so passionate about supporting this cause.
Elinor recently joined The Esther Project as a steering committee member, and when Lianne told her about the date for her first night, it felt like fate. It’s the day before she celebrates 20 years of owning Pentlands Accountants and Advisors, and she thought: What better way to mark this milestone and start her 21st year than by taking on a meaningful challenge?
Elinor has so far raised a whopping £2,221 of her target £2,500!
