We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you and a fond farewell to Tom.
After 13 years being part of the Pentlands team, Tom has decided to join his parents Grenville and Gill Barber and his brother Sam to work in the family business “Honeyfields Bee Farm”. With Tom’s help they plan to expand the size of their operation, running more bees and growing their team.
We went out for lunch this week and gave Tom a few gifts to send him on his way. It is a big change moving from accountancy to beekeeping so we stocked up on a few of the essentials we thought Tom may need:
Suntan cream (Tom is quite pale)
Bite and sting cream!
Honey infused lip balm
and a yellow and black water bottle.
Our main pressie was a meal voucher for a posh restaurant in Birmingham as we know how much Tom and Chloe love a good meal out.
We will all miss Tom very much; he has been an invaluable member of the team.
