Elinor remembers Taz joining in the summer of 2003, straight from university with his accountancy degree under his belt, he was very quiet and got his head down and worked hard learning everything about how to complete accounts.
Once he qualified in 2010, he grew in confidence and worked his way from trainee accountant to associate director, leading and supporting client relationships.
Having worked with Taz all these years, Elinor was reflecting on what she values most, Taz is always calm and ready to help me, the team, and clients. He’s very good at unscrambling figures that are in a mess! And when we are very busy, he will go out of his way to make sure we hit a deadline.
Elinor asked the team for a few comments about what they love about Taz …
• He’s like our internal IT department, just his presence can fix your computer, sometimes!
• I enjoy working with Taz, he has many good qualities and represents all of Pentland’s values, he is extremely knowledgeable.
• I like that Taz is always on hand to offer expert advice on anything we may be stuck on – he seems to know it all lol!
• Taz is a massive marvel cinematic universe fan, so it’s nice to chat about the movies.
• Taz has a great technical knowledge, but it is occasionally nice to prove him wrong
What a way to celebrate walking 50km last weekend, raising over £3,600 for charity, this is a fabulous achievement and a great way to mark this milestone. To celebrate as a team, we are heading out of the office in August for a day at Adventure Sports.
