Pentlands new client, Bear Cleaning Ltd, was established in September 2017 and is run by husband-and-wife Ted and Kate Hunter. Based in Kenilworth, the company provides exterior cleaning and waste management services for both commercial and domestic clients.
Ted founded the business initially, having left the police in 2014, he retrained to become a plasterer but soon realised that blocked guttering was the root cause of damp in most ceilings and walls. He spotted a gap in the market for a cleaning company that could tackle this problem head on – saving property owners thousands in structural damage.
In 2020, Bear Cleaning was crowned Family Business of the Year at the Midlands Service Excellence Awards.
