We were going through a period of major change, embarking on a demerger of two companies and an associated management restructure.

Pentlands supported us with the changes in the business and provided support to implement a new accounting system specifically for manufacturers. From the start of our working relationship, we would meet regularly to go through management accounts. When lockdown happened, we switched to monthly Teams meetings. We still have these meetings every month without fail.
This has given us clarity around our departmental numbers, we have greater confidence in our decisions, and we have greater visibility of our cost savings and how to improve our waste management.
