Congratulations to Pentlands client, Totem Learning who have developed an accessible travel simulation app with their partners, Chrome Angel Solutions for Northern Trains who have scooped a prestigious national award at the Rail Business Awards for their Accessible Travel Simulation.
Maxine Myers, Northern Rail accessibility improvement manager said: “This amazing new app will give confidence to some of our customers, and even prospective rail travellers to enable them to take independent journeys. We want to support our customers whenever they need it.”
Funding has recently been approved to move this proof of concept onto a fully-fledged tool for disabled people and rail staff alike to improve the travel experience overall.
