Pentlands client Sarah Horne Botanicals are preparing to showcase a
fabulous new collection of homewares at the Country Living Christmas
Show 2018 in London on 7th-11th November. This will be the first show
for the company – and by choosing to debut at a retail fair at Christmas,
they’re certainly starting strong!
One of the key aims of the exhibition stand will be to convey the creative
potential in introducing Sarah Horne Botanicals to home styling. The
Floral Decadence Fine Bone China collection is new for Spring Summer
’19 and is designed to contrast and compliment. Sarah’s signature black
and white colour scheme offers endless possibilities, some of which will be
demonstrated. Side plates featuring the illustrations can be paired with
block-colour dinner plates, for a contemporary pop. Sarah’s favourite
complementary colours for her china are teal, red or cerise! For a softer
look, dove grey placements and rose gold cutlery set off the soothing side
of Floral Decadence. An eclectic yet elegant style is achieved by combining
many different floral designs on the same table setting. Visitors to the Country Living show stand will be taken on a leisurely walk through the garden with every place setting – Roses, Stargazer Lilies, Freesia, Orange Blossom, Magnolia, Cherry Blossom, Jasmine, Anemones, Medinilla Flowers and Orchids.
The ways in which Sarah Horne Botanicals can bring floral beauty into the
home doesn’t stop at the conventional and quirky ideas will be presented
at Country Living… for example, the Floral Decadence vase can be used to
present utensils; the lidded jar can store cooking spices or cotton wool;
and the teacups can be used for gin! And of course, as a nudge towards the
origins of the story, the pieces are particularly gorgeous when used to
display flowers and Sarah will be wearing her Chelsea Gold Medalwinning
hat when adding floral flourishes to the stand each day.
The company aim for Country Living Christmas 2018 to be the first of
many retail shows. Furthermore, they will be participating in their first
ever trade show, Spring Fair 2019 on 3rd-7th February at the NEC,
Birmingham. Embracing an ever-changing retail landscape, they are keen
to open both potential channels for establishing the brand.
Sarah Horne Botanicals can’t wait to demonstrate how to build a unique,
creative interior style with the Floral Decadence collection and bring the
undeniable natural beauty of flowers into the home!
