Congratulations to Pentlands client Sarah Horne who has won a place at the finals of The UK Florist of the Year 2024.
Sarah of Sarah Horne Flowers, 86 Warwick Street, Leamington Spa has won one of only six places to compete in the UK Florist of the Year finals, which take place at the Nottingham Conference Centre on the 28th of September 2024. The winner of UK Florist of
the Year will represent the UK in the’ Florint World Cup of Floral Art’ at The Hague in the Netherlands in August 2025.
There were four heats around the country Glasgow, Sheffield, Bristol and London. The six finalists were the six florists who achieved the highest marks from all four of the heats.
Sarah won the London heat with 94.5 marks out of 100 and found out on the 25th of July that she had won her place in the finals. Sarah has demonstrated her skills around the world but the thing that she is most proud of is that she and her team have been delivering floral joy from her high street flower gallery in Royal Leamington Spa for over 44 years.
Never standing still…Sarah and the team launched the new custom built Sarah Horne Academy within Sarah Horne Flowers at the end of 2023. The autumn/winter and the Christmas programme will be launched on the 1st of August.
