Denise: I wanted to work with accountants that are effective, reliable and professional and also give me peace of mind in their understanding of the challenges of an expanding business.
Tim: We don’t have complex accounting needs; what we need are accountants who’ve got our backs to ensure we’re complying with legislation and our payroll; VAT returns and yearly accounts are correct and up to date.
Denise: Prior to Tim joining the Wylde family, I had been overseeing all finances and accounting: from strategy through to processing the daily accounts requirements. As the business was rapidly growing it had become important for me to focus on the demands of developing the company, ‘working on it, rather than in it’.
Tim: The Pentlands team had been a great support. Taz and I have worked very closely so I was able to gain an in-depth understanding of the finances, and the reporting required to support business growth. Jess also worked closely with our new bookkeeper to ensure the management accounts and statutory accounts requirements were aligned and up to date. It has helped us to streamline our processes, ensuring accurate information is recorded and enables us to produce everything in a timely manner.
